Agricultural engineering is
the application of techniques, knowledge and disciplines of various fields of
engineering to solve the problems arises in agricultural farms with an object
of making the rural life better, reduce labour and improve productivity.
Agricultural engineering has four main branches like rural structures, farm
implements, soil conservation, irrigation and drainage and rural electricity.
Due to the engineering works tractors, sprayers, water canals, pumping devices,
drip irrigation systems etc came in to existence.
